A refugee family in Saskatoon is reflecting on the devastation in the war-torn city of Aleppo, Syria.
An estimated 400,000 Syrians have been killed and close to five million have fled the country since the civil war began in 2011.
"The world needs to help all of Syria," said Jihad Mohamad, through translator Mohammad Abushar.
Mohamad, his wife et Intisar Dagheli and three children now call Saskatoon home after fleeing the country almost a year ago.
